PEAK OF UNGRATEFULNESS

Mr. Travins decided to leave his house and go on a journey to an unknown land where he had never being, not have anyone around. On his way, he saw lots of beautiful things; nature and inventions. He was so happy and joyful, so optimistic and with good faith.

When he got to a place he decided to stay. Being a new place, he did the clearing, shelter and make the place comfortable for himself and slept.

He set out to search for place of water and food, where he can use to start up something that yield income for him.  During his walk he came across rivers, thick bushes with dead animal and some kind of human skeletons, traps of all kinds but couldn't see any human. Through the same route find his way back home.

Later as time goes on, he began to come around human dead bodies from time to time and began to ask himself all manner of questions such as what could have been the cause of their death, where are they going to, where are they coming from, what are they search for etc, and this continued as he remains there.

After years, this man became so wake and discouraged. Looking back the years he had spent and couldn't point at a tangle thing he has achieved. He decided to go back to the house he left but couldn't get his way out of the forest.

Then he concluded to take his life (Sucide), a very early in the morning he stepped out with a rope in his hand handing toward where he will hang himself.
Just as he was about to hang himself, he heard human voice for the first time. He was shocked and surprised, looking around he saw a man seriously wounded and struggling between life and death.

He quickly ran towards the man, took him to were he stays, take go care of him and help him gain consciousness.

Out of curiosity, Mr. Travins began to ask questions, who are you, where are you from, what brought you here, what happened to you.... and so on.
The young man couldn't say a word, So Mr. Yomi exhaled and decided to share his own story, he narrated the whole adventure. As soon as Mr. Travins finished, the young said, you are *"ungrateful".*

Mr. Travins was shocked to hear the word, "ungrateful" how?. The young man said, I and 6 of my friends were on a journey when the car broke down, in trying to get help we found ourselves in this forest and in six days they are all dead. But you have lived years in this forest with good health and sound mind and yet because you feel you are not making progress, you want to kill your self. Go ahead kill yourself.

*YOU ARE UNGRATEFUL! YOU ARE UNGRATEFUL!! YOU ARE UNGRATEFUL!!!...*

Mr. Yomi, how do you mean "am ungrateful?".

The young replied, for many years every night you sleep without fear of danger, every  morning you wake up without fear of the danger during your daily routine activities but you angry that you plan to make the forest a developed and convinent place didn't work.

But for I and my friends, we sleep, wake and walk with the fear to be consumed and yet every day one must die and other injured. So are you not an *ingrate*?

And they both cry and cry and cry...

Note: that place you are today, work, position, possession and other that think is too small to thank God for; a thousand and one other people prayed and fasted for but yet has not gotten there.

*What does it mean to be ungrateful*
In my own simple definition it is the act of underrate, non-challant of goodness received.

However, most people believe that, people become ungrateful when they are in storm or unpleasant situations or circumstances but this isn't true because one can be ungrateful even thing are still cool....

Everytime we see the goodness we received as normal and ordinary thing we are ungrateful. Some people say words like after all I said *"thank you*".  Yes you did, but what value do place on the goodness.

This is so funny, something we your attention is called to it, you reply by saying "what has he/she done self". Should I die there, is he the first person to help another etc...

With this I have come to discover that the act of ungratefulness is not only common among the poor and average financial earner but also the reach. It's seen that people tend to be  more ungrateful when things aren't working well. Most especially when what ought to be our major breakthrough seems impossible and you have prayed, fasted, sown seeds, pay tithes, meet people who you feel should help also turned you down and you look around you is *disappointment*. You it seem God is deaf and heaven is shot over you.

*What should I do*
This is the stage where most believers let go of the faith and try to work out thing in contradiction to God's will. We try to help ourselves and ease ourselves of the pressure. Some resort to drinking alcohol, womanizing and more. In this state you don't want to worry about your problems again. But however in the wrong way.

*The peak*
Some people go the extra mile in making the whole situation *worse* by giving up on God. How; by going *Diabolical and Sucide*, this simply show the extent as which you belittle God and try to tell him how imcompetent  he is. But never forget *"there is nothing impossible for God to do, he is the Almighty ( Most mighty among all other might being).

Note, Diabolism and Sucide is forbidden for every true believe. It's an insult to his *personality*.

Assuming you are a president of Nigeria, and your son goes out borrow #500 from a road side trader. How will you feel....

This is the same way and deeper God feels when a believer engage in Diabolism or Sucide.
The Bible says; we should give thanks in all situation, because in every of quiet time of God, he is always up to something, bigger, greater, mightier than what we are passing through.

*What should I do*
"He who is thankful for a previous goodness received will receive another".
God expect us to be thankful, of all the things you are struggling for and with, he give you life free with charge.
Every bright of another day you see is a sign that God has not forsaken you. You are still part of his plan for that day. Why can't you the *"grateful"*? Luke 17:12-19

Just take a minute and s ay to God am *grateful*
For me *'I am grateful'*
So, what about you?
